Accessibility statement
Last updated: 25 October 2026
We want Fruitfall to be fun for as many people as possible. We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, the basis of the Israeli standard IS 5568, wherever a fast-moving puzzle game allows it.
What the game offers
- Reduced motion & effects: no shaking, floating fruit or flashing celebrations. It also follows your device’s reduced-motion setting.
- High contrast: darker text and a clearer board grid.
- Untimed modes: Adventure, Puzzles and Orchard have no clock.
- Controls: full keyboard play, on-screen buttons in three sizes, left- or right-handed layouts, and touch gestures.
- An optional landing preview that shows where a piece will land, screen-reader announcements for cleared rows and results, and a skip link to the board.
- Each fruit has its own shape as well as its own colour, so the board does not rely on colour alone.
- Sound, music and vibration can each be switched off.
Known limitations
- The board itself is a drawing. Playing a full round with a screen reader alone is not yet possible.
- Classic and the Daily Challenge are timed by design.
- We have not yet completed an external accessibility audit or testing with assistive-technology users on every device.
